Welcome to Newborn Magic Photography
Based in Brisbane, my name is Marianne, and I offer parents the opportunity to capture their little ones’ first moments and translate them into keepsakes they can hold close forever. At Newborn Magic Photography, my approach is gentle, calm, and personal — designed to make both you and your baby feel at ease, so we can capture those fleeting first moments just as they are: natural, beautiful, and full of love.
Tiny Hands, In Good Hands
As mothers, our instinct is to prioritise our babies' needs, happiness, and health above all else. Therefore, when selecting your newborn photographer, allow yourself the time to make a thoughtful decision. Opt for someone you can wholeheartedly trust to capture those irreplaceable moments during the initial days of your growing family. Your chosen photographer should be a reliable presence, someone you trust implicitly to cradle your precious little one during these tender and fleeting moments. And that’s where I come in!

Why Get Newborn Photos Taken?
Newborn photos capture those incredibly fleeting first moments of your baby’s life, turning them into timeless memories you can treasure forever. In those early days, babies change so quickly, and professional photography helps you preserve those precious details—like their tiny fingers, toes, and sleepy smiles—that you’ll want to look back on as they grow. It’s not just about the photos; it’s about creating lasting memories of a chapter in your life that passes by in the blink of an eye.
About Me
Hi, I’m Marianne, a Brisbane-based photographer specialising in newborn, baby, and maternity photography. Originally from Norway, I transitioned from a career as a chef and restaurant owner to pursue my passion for photography in 2014. I discovered my love for newborn photography after photographing a friend’s baby, and since then, I’ve been captivated by capturing those precious moments. With over 35 years of experience behind the camera, I’m genuinely dedicated to preserving the beauty of your little one’s first days.
